In the latest USA Today/Gallup survey, the Democrats now lead the Republicans by just 3 percent, 48% to 45%, in generic preferences for Congress. This is down from double-digit Democratic leads seen on this measure over the past year. I bet the liberals will point to fake polling again, rather than face the truth that Obama is turning off voters.
Why have the Democrats been falling in the polls? Maybe, it is because the Democrats have done nothing substantial since taking power in 2006. In fact, try to name one piece of beneficial (not Constitution-threatening) legislation they passed through. Crickets are chirping.
Americans want representation they can count on to stand up to the special interest lobby in DC. You betcha, they want their legislators to stand up for what is right and in the district’s best interest. Instead, the Democrats (and yes, some Republicans) have been busy pandering to the special interests that have funneled tens of thousands of dollars into their campaigns. Whatever happened to accountability?
“Whatever happened to accountability?”
Good question to ask the GOP.
