I think that if we are going to throw out the Constitution to deal with this financial situation, then we should do something unconstitutional that benefits the American People and serves the ends of justice.
In my opinion, the imposition of a $700 billion dollar fine (and that’s just the beginning) on the American people is cruel and unusual punishment.
Well turnabout is fair play. An eye for an eye, so to speak. Let’s harvest the organs of all the CEO’s responsible for this situation, and all of their top managers, and all of their employees who made loans to illegals and to people who lied on their applications. We can sell their organs to the Chinese.
Or, alternatively, Berananke and Paulson and Bush can get on the @!#$%^ television and admit that the American People are not responsible for the bad decision of Wall Street Bankers, and they can be honest about the fact that their is going to be a credit crunch, and ask the American People to barter with each other or use other innovative methods of overcoming this temporary difficult situation.
But again, if Bernanke, Paulson, and Bush are admonishing us to throw out the Constitution for the benefit of Wall Street then some hangings and lynchings should probably be the first order of business.
