Check out the list of those who voted for the bailout. They went against the wishes of many of their constituents and should be held accountable on Election Day.

It has been interesting to watch the faux libertarians and so-called free market economy proponents whine about the impending credit crunch and throw out their principles when it appeared that the pain might affect them or their families.
Brian Weigand, host of the Morning Line radio talk show on WLNI, was extolling the wisdom and expertise of Bernanke and Paulson.
However to paraphrase Mark Twain:
In his little box of stage-properties Weigand keeps six or eight cunning devices, tricks, artifices of Libertarianism, and he is never so happy as when he is working these innocent things and seeing them go.
Weigand’s family has been in real estate, and so now Weigand, the great libertarian is whining about credit crunches; and he is coming out in support of the bailout.
In other words, Weigand is all for free market when it benefits him and his social class; else he wants the government to step in.
Not much of a free marketeer or a libertarian if you ask me.
“No” for Bailout! It’s not fair for us “the taxpayers!” When those large banks (e.g. Lehman Brothers, Merrill, Wachovia, etc.) made billions and billions of profits in the past decades, did they share their profits with us, the taxpayers?
Now these big institutions having liquidity problems, they want us (the taxpayers, and future taxpyers) to pay off their debts? NOT FAIR!!!
THAT’S NOT FAIR FOR TAXPAYERS!!!
I agree with you, Mark. The bailout was wrong in all ways. I say let the markets restore the economy.
Please see to it that every member of the Senate and House receive the Dave Ramsey Common Sense Fix. It will save us $650 Billion. Liars can figure but Figures don’t lie!!
Mainstreet should have had their bailout with oil and today Congress tells us on telephone gas market prices and retail prices don’t match 60cent markup.Oil down gas up. Free market is no longer a part of USA Oh I’m sorry Mainstreet does not have to money to buy out Congress. Mainstreet listen sit at home save put in matress stop paying the rich ever hour on every dollar you spend Save it.Mainstreet shut the rich down. They are holding us in slavery
The bailout/sellout is not just bad for capitalism, the economy, and tosses the Constitution out the window, it does not work.
If, I say again, IF you get to vote in the future-
vote out every single person who voted for the sellout/bailout.
Here is a web site that lists the who voted for bailout bill.
