Should Felons Be Allowed to Vote?

According to ACORN and Barack Obama, the answer is sadly “yes.”  For law-abiding citizens, this is a slap in the face by allowing those who commit felonies to have an opportunity to vote.

This has no doubt opened the doors to voter fraud throughout America.  First, fraudulent acts include the following:  letting felons vote, registering dead people and pets, voting twice, and persuading/forcing someone to vote against their will.   ACORN has been guilty of three of these acts.  The obvious one is registering felons to vote.  You can see evidence of this in mostly all of the major cities, including The New York Times and the Orlando Sun-Sentinel.   Additionally, this type of behavior occurred rampantly throughout Baltimore during the 2006 campaign, when felons were registered to vote (which ironically provided Governor Martin “Scumbag” O’Malley a victory).

Both ACORN and Barack Obama are corrupt.  Corrupt, by allowing this type of illegal behavior to occur and threatening the Democratic process.   It is a shame that fraudulent activity is taking away every vote in America.  Hopefully, justice will be served.

Break out the bubbly: White wine may be good for you

White wines like champagne may offer the same cardiac benefits as red wine, and even beer lovers may get some protection, research suggests.

As a wine aficionado, I personally favor a great Red wine with stellar personality. For example, a good Pinot Noir easily beats out a white wine. After reading this article, while I may still favor the Reds, I might consider a good white wine.

Some of the best white wines are grown and bottled here in the Old Dominion. Swedenberg Vineyards, located near Middleburg, has an amazingly crisp white wine. Chantilly is a white that takes on the Pinot Grigio with a little tangy taste on the nose. The subtle hints of pineapple and orange add a refreshing bite to the tastebuds.

It goes to show that wine does have proven health benefits. Enjoy!

Tim Kaine and His Proposed Budget: What lies ahead for Virginia?

Well, if there is one thing Governor Tim Kaine will be known for is for during his tenure, it will be raising taxes.   You see, Kaine represents the “tax and spend” liberal philosophy that drains every Virginian of their hard earned money.  He is notably the worst Governor in Virginia history, aside from J. Lindsey Almond, who fought on behalf of segregation in the public schools.

With the recent budget shortfalls in Virginia, Kaine is actually trying to make another attempt of governing, kinda difficult with his travel schedule.  His recent budget proposal further demonstrates how he will be cutting close to 1,400 State Government employees, cutting the amount of funds being allocated to public universities, and a reduction of the Governor’s salary and Governor’s Mansion.  While many would say, at least he cut the budget, you know he will also need to compensate for needed transportation improvements, which of course, would result in a tax hike.

Just another failed attempt of looking hard at work, eh, Governor Kaine!
