This just in:  KDKA (via Drudge Report) in Pittsburgh reports that Ashley Todd, the McCain volunteer who was attacked by a man, who carved a “B” on her face fabricated this attack.  According to the Pittsburgh Police Department, Todd was complied to a polygraph examination, and while no results were released, there were several inconsistencies with her story.

Many of my friends from the Left are saying that the McCain campaign will be in trouble for this false accusation.  I am going to shed some light on this:  Ms. Todd will be the one who has to live with the fact that she lied.   This is not the McCain campaign’s fault, rather it is the fault of the individual who fabricated the truth.

Had this been real?  I would still hold the same feelings towards Obama’s campaign (if they attacked a McCain staffer) and likewise, if McCain’s campaign attacked an Obama staffer.
