It appears that Sen. Harry Reid despises tourists.  He despises them so much that he won’t have to smell them in the Capitol, since the visitor’s center is underground with 26 restrooms.   Senator Reid made these comments during the ceremony yesterday commemorating the opening of Government Waste at work.

According to the Washington Examiner, Reid said that members of Congress will no longer be worried by smelling the tourists’ body odor.  Reid mentioned that his staff warned him not to make these remarks.

Isn’t it ironic?  “Dirty Harry” Reid made a comment about the stench of tourists, yet the taxpayers are complaining about the wasteful stench of wasting their money on a “quagmire” (i.e. the Capitol Visitor Center).
