Besides the mercury, do we really want to send MORE money to China? These bulbs are not made in the US. How much energy is spent just to bring them to the US?

EPA hasn’t figured out what to do with these light bulbs and neither have I as a consumer. Now their energy savings are based on what? Coal generated energy sources? NOT nuclear generated power for sure which has no emissions. Kaine just put 4,500 of these in our state parks? I thought mercury was bad for fish and wildlife? Another heretic looking for sober solutions in a world drunk on hysteria ;-)
