You hit the nail right on the head by noting that the “down side to a Davis chairmanship is the fact that all of our core principles would most likely become abandoned.”

This is especially true with Davis being THE BIGGEST Republican recipient of FANNIE MAE and FREDDIE MAC campaign contributions (and in the top ten list of recipients when you include Democrats).

As Republicans, do we really need this?

I look forward to the Yankees-Red Sox series this year, as the rivalry will intensify. On Frank Sinatra, he simply rocks and “New York, New York” is one of my favorites.

I think the best person to fill the RPV seat might belong to a co-chairmanship. It might be a first, but two minds often think better than one if they are in sync.

Aside from the fact that the Yankees ruined my off-season by signing Mark Teixeira, I have to say that I agree with you that it’s bloody time the baseball season got underway. There’s only so much football a person can take. As to this post, I’d rather see Harris of the two mentioned, but neither one would be my first choice. Chris Saxman would be my preference but that won’t happen. Oh, while listening to Frank Sinatra this morning, I came across a song that is one of my favorites (Theme from New York, New York) and thought about you.
