The Tea Party Hits Virginia
It is time to demand change from our leaders in Congress. The fact that we can no longer look towards fiscal prosperity makes me sick, but not as much as the government wasting away my tax money on pork barrel projects.
Since they won’t listen, it is TIME for a little revolt. The nationwide Tea Parties got their famous start through CNBC’s Rick Santelli, when he called for all free market advocates to protest out-of-control spending. February 27, 2009 began the start of this movement, and now, there will be tea parties all across the country on April 15th.
Virginia will be no exception, as there are tea parties being held in Virginia Beach, Charlottesville, and Richmond to stand strong against wasteful government spending.
I hope you can come out and join us as we fight to change the tax and spend behavior of our elected officials in Washington.

Awesome! I’ll be participating in Austin, TX and are similar parties in all the major media markets here. I would check with your state American’s for Prosperity chapter for details
We pinch and sacrifice while Obama spends trillions, putting our children and grandchildren into debt for years to come. What is wrong with this picture? Please tell me where a tea party will be in SW Virginia!
Check out the Tax Day Tea Party site for Virginia. This site has a comprehensive list of the tea party events occurring throughout the Commonwealth.
