Unfortunately, I was unable to attend the tea parties today due to work commitments. However, I was there with each of my fellow revolutionaries in spirit. However, I felt I would give props to my fellow bloggers who were able to participate and cover the events.
- Tertium Quids Norm Leahy has done an awesome job covering the tea parties, and no doubt, I look forward to reading more of his accounts from the Richmond Tea Party.
- Bearing Drift Georgie Gale provided great coverage of the Virginia Beach tea party with pictures.
- Deo Vindice James Atticus Bowden was one of the speakers at the Newport News Tea Party, and his post features his remarks to the audience today.
- Virginia Virtucon kfd4edu provided a glimpse into the Prince William County Tea Party.
- Black Velvet Bruce Li Greg has some video coverage of the Prince William County event, and he will have more videos from the event online today.
- Rick Sincere has good coverage of the Charlottesville Tea Party.
- Leslie Carbone made both the opening and closing remarks at the Reston Tea Party.
The tea party momentum was not just here in D.C. and Virginia, but all around the country people gathered to tell their leaders in Congress and the President that they are mad as hell about the spending/tax hikes/government waste and they’re not going to take it anymore. In fact, a lame brained CNN reporter had to learn this the hard way in Chicago.
Overall, it looks like today definitely had an impact, but the real impact will take place when the government stops wasting away our taxes on pet projects and earmarks, or for that matter, bailing out every business and bank that comes along.

Thanks, 3C! I’m sorry that you couldn’t join us.
