Muldoon's Web of Lies–Part One
Well, I am certain you have been receiving a litany of e-mails from each of the Republican statewide candidates recently. While they all seem to tout some sort of positive achievement, there is one candidate who has displayed a negative streak that no one else wants to touch or even analyze. Patrick Muldoon, who is running against Bill Bolling at the Republican State Convention, has been sending out last ditch desperation e-mails to the delegates for support. However, each of these e-mails is filled with many fabrications of Bill Bolling’s record as a legislator and as Lieutenant Governor. Bolling has been a tireless leader and public servant, who has a proven record on behalf of working on behalf of families, whether it is having a 100% pro-life voting record, advocating for school choice, and fighting for lower taxes.
Muldoon’s desperation keeps getting more interesting. Each day up until the Convention on May 30th, Muldoon plans to send out an e-mail each day stating why he should be elected, along with attacking Bolling’s record. Today, the 9th District, Muldoon’s home district, sent an e-mail out stating they are supporting Bolling, because of his dedication and service to the Commonwealth of Virginia. This e-mail also noted that they assisted Muldoon, when he ran for several public offices and failed to win, but he did not take their advice when they encouraged him to stop the attacks. If this is not a sign of desperation, I don’t know what else could be considered under this category.
The most recent fabrication is Muldoon’s recent attacks of the McDonnell/Bolling Energy Plan. Muldoon states in his e-mail that Bolling is taking a page out of Al Gore’s Global Warming Agenda by not signing Americans for Prosperity’s pledge to “oppose legislation relating to climate change that includes a net increase in government revenue.” The truth is that Bill Bolling has signed this pledge and remains devoted to ensuring that we address our energy needs in Virginia by utilizing offshore drilling, clean coal technology, and utilizing renewable resources. There is no correlation between the McDonnell/Bolling energy plan and Al Gore, so how can Muldoon claim this without proof.
Virginians do not need desperation or liars leading them, rather they deserve a honest leader, who will work tirelessly for them. Muldoon’s web of lies only hurts himself, not Bill Bolling, who is an effective leader.

I believe you should double check your facts or try blogging what is factual. If you were to go to website, http://www.noclimatetax.com/pledge-signatories/, you would see who signed the pledge. In Virginia, Patrick Muldoon, Ken Cuccinelli and John Brownlee were the only signers to the pledge that are running for statewide office.
I don’t know how you could have claimed Bill Bolling signed this pledge. Your rational could only be that you went to the website and saw it, the Bolling campaign gave you false information or you just didn’t tell the truth on the matter. The fact of the matter is that Bill Bolling did not sign the pledge.
I think you should do a correction on this after reviewing the information for yourself online at the above website.

He did sign the pledge, and in fact, they will be sending out a press release. It should be going public within the next day.
How about this, Steve, why don’t you try being a writer for one day? I thoroughly research everything I write before making it public. There are times that I often have to dig above and beyond to find stuff before publishing a post. I ensure that everything is factual, and if it is not, then I issue corrections. If indeed, this pledge is not released by the end of the week, then there will be a correction.
I do not appreciate being called a liar either.

Actually, I believe it is a great example of leadership that Patrick brings to the table. Bolling didn’t want to sign it and anyone inside knows the only reason he did is because Patrick did.
What is astounding is that Crystal Clear knew Bolling would sign it before it was even sent to AFP. Yesterday Muldoon hit Bolling for not signing the pledge, last night you attack Muldoon, saying Bolling has signed the pledge, even though AFP didn’t have any record and today Bolling turns his pledge in to AFP. I think that shows who’s on the inside of the Bolling campaign, furthermore, which candidate is leading and which is following.
Not too mention that Bolling was offered the opportunity to sign the pledge before Patrick was aware. Patrick didn’t hesitate, he knew what to do.
Funny, you should mention this, Steve. I do not work for the Bolling campaign, and you can even ask around about this. Just more signs of desperation from the Muldoon campaign.
I am more and more angered by Patrick Muldoon and his cronies. First I was just annoyed and thought if he wanted to run, so what? Now I realize this is nothing more than an attempt to further divide the party so Steve Waters can collect a pay check. Muldoon has absolutely no shot at winning the nomination and if by some accident he does we can write off the Lt Gov’s seat. Nobody will support him outside of the small, radical fraction assisting his joke of a race now.
