Republican Liberty Caucus of Virginia Elects New Board of Directors
Yesterday, the Republican Liberty Caucus of Virginia met to re-charter the state affiliate and to elect a new Board of Directors at The Hard Shell in Richmond. The affiliate was originally chartered at the RPV Advance in 2007. The members elected Matthew Gagnon as Chair, Steven Latimer as Vice Chair, Cliff Dunn as Treasurer, and I was elected as Secretary. In addition, three at-large members were also elected to the Board of Directors. The at-large members are Rick Sincere, Leonard Harris, and Matthew DeLeon.
Additionally, the RLC-Virginia Chapter had a booth at the Convention, where delegates could take the World’s Smallest Political Quiz. Many of those who took the quiz scored in the libertarian category, and this booth definitely allowed the Republicans in attendance to learn more about the RLC. Special thanks goes out to Lisa Miller, who sponsored the booth.
The Republican Liberty Caucus was founded in 1991 to promote individual liberty, limited government, and free enterprise within the Republican Party by promoting these ideals among Party officials and other organizations, identifying and supporting candidates who are sympathetic to these ideals, and promoting Caucus membership with those in the party and elected officials.

I was at that meeting and it was exciting. Hats off to the new board and its chair, Matthew Gagnon.
