It seems that the Attorney General’s race is starting to take an interesting turn, as it appears Democratic candidate Steve Shannon does not want the upcoming debate in Virginia Beach to be taped. On Saturday, June 20th at 9:00 a.m., both Ken Cuccinelli and Steve Shannon will have their first debate, sponsored by the Virginia Bar Association. The Cuccinelli campaign wants to make the debate available through the internet to all throughout the Commonwealth.
While Cuccinelli stands for openness and accountability in the government, Shannon seems to be hiding something that he does not want Virginians to know. Whatever it is, shouldn’t Shannon be sharing this with the voters?
