Poll Shows McDonnell, Bolling, and Cuccinelli Leading
According to a Public Policy Polling poll released on Tuesday, it showed the Republican ticket leading the Democrats. All three major candidates: Bob McDonnell, Bill Bolling, and Ken Cuccinelli held anywhere between 6-7% lead over their Democratic counterparts.
The poll showed McDonnell with 49% and Creigh Deeds with 43%, along with 8% undecided. Bolling had 46% of the poll with Jody Wagner having 40%, along with 13% being undecided. Cuccinelli polled at 45%, while Steve Shannon polled at 38%, with 18% still undecided.
This is good news leading towards November, and even though, it is early and Election Day is 117 days away, the results are definitely showing good momentum for the Republican party.
