Gastanaga’s Nagging Wins Cuccinelli Votes

The work of increasing gains for women’s equality is an increasingly difficult task.  A recent piece, by Dina Bakst in Forbes magazine,  noted that despite “18 million cracks” and

women hav[ing] many things to celebrate [going into the new decade]: they now earn close to 60% of all college degrees, run more than 10 million businesses with combined annual sales of $1.2 trillion and, for the first time in history, make up half of all workers on U.S. payrolls

the glass ceiling remains firmly intact!  According to Bakst, women need more special treatment in facilitating the replacement of husbands and fathers by further modifying the workplace, by law, to:

expand access to family-friendly employee benefits, including paid family leave and paid sick days.

and expand

access to workplace flexibility and fair work schedules by reforming the Fair Labor Standards Act and passing a law that guarantees workers the right to request flexible work. Flexible work arrangements (e.g., part-time work, flexible workday schedules and telecommuting) are crucial for many workers with multiple responsibilities.

and expand civil right causes off action because

[i]n the current recession, claims of pregnancy discrimination and other forms of family responsibilities discrimination have increased, yet the gaps in our existing framework of civil rights laws leave many workers without a valid claim. In addition, Congress should strengthen our fair pay laws and ensure that part-time workers are afforded pro rata pay and benefits. Many federal laws explicitly exclude or authorize the denial of benefits to part-time workers.

and while you’re at it, women need expanded access to other people’s money on account of the

national social insurance system never [being] updated to provide economic support to workers who reduce their hours or exit the paid workforce to care for family members.

and finally (with us adding one last thing), the doors on all federal buildings need to be expanded to facilitate women’s access on account of the obesity epidemic (and Haagen Dazs) disproportionately hitting women.  Who would have thought for all the empowerment women have gained over the past few decades, that it would have left them so needy?

One industry that has not been hurt by the Great Recession is the female-dominated special interest or nagging industry.  As a matter of fact, this industry happens to be female-dominated, not for gender-discrimination against men, but for the merit and natural talent of women as prodigious nags.  Just this week, professional nag, Claire Guthrie Gastanaga, aimed her mouth (which has significant experience with Haagen Dasz) at Virginia Attorney General-Elect, Ken Cuccinelli, as reported by the Washington Post’s Rosalind Helderman:

Attorney General-elect Ken Cuccinelli this morning responded directly to criticisms from advocate Claire Guthrie Gastanaga, who was Virginia’s first female chief deputy attorney general, complaining that Cuccinelli has appointed fewer women to management positions than any other AG in recent memory. (Cuccinelli’s office will be the first since 1982 that does not have a woman serving as a deputy attorney general.)

Gasp.  This could spell doom for the Commonwealth.  Save us Ken, you’re our only hope.  Sure enough, Cuccinelli directly responded that

Claire’s ability to run her mouth helped get us votes,…She scared the bejeesus out of enough people about what would happen if Steve Shannon were elected attorney general.

In protecting liberty, truth, justice and the American way for the Commonwealth, Cuccinelli contrasted his approach to staffing with Gastanaga’s single-minded approach:

Where we ended up, I’m confident we’ve got great folks in each of those positions,…It really shows a major difference between liberals like Claire and me. She cares more about what somebody looks like than whether they’ll do a good job. I care more about whether they’ll do a good job. As I said earlier, the folks we have will represent every single Virginians in their position. Claire’s attitude is quite contrary. Whether people voted for me or not, I’m their attorney general. We come into office with that attitude, and every person we hired in each position has that attitude.

further adding that the Virginia Attorney General’s office is already

well populated with talented females, attorneys and others, in significant numbers. We’re going to be in a good office with a great environment with folks from every part of Virginia and every walk of life, in one part of the office or another.

Gastanaga and Bakst typify the bottomless pit that Western women have become.  Despite all the impressive gains made by women (and even noted by Bakst), THEIR vacuous black HOLEs, created by their extreme solipsistic nagging, CAN NEVER BE FILLED.  These are the kind of women who make the world worse for other women and for all men.  These are the “lifeboat feminists,” the ones who nag all the time, demanding to be treated like men, but when danger strikes, they run squealing “women and children, first!“   These are the women who conduct themselves as terrorists blackmailing against the fear of their nagging.  These are the women who spend all of their time running off their mouths, and not a moment wondering why they cannot compel a real man’s respect by government action.

Interestingly, these are also the women who project their princess fantasies by nagging to all that will listen: “where are all the real men?”  Of course they do not realize that they have snuffed them all out out by raising “feminist sons“.  To make matters worse, they have used the public education system to institutionalize “lifeboat feminism.”

Understanding women’s empowerment can be easily understood as the answer to the fantastically amusing quandry: what would happen if ordinary women were given superpowers?  They would be a harem to the few superpowerful men because women crave being dominated (and in this case, ordinary men will not do).  Such is the case with women’s empowerment creating supernags.  Supernags, like Gastanaga, nag with a longing for that one superman that will put them in their place.  With Gastanaga constantly nagging at Cuccinelli over the marriage amendment and many other issues, don’t you just know that someone’s gotta crush?
