Bush is racist , sexist and a war-monger so NO, I don’t miss him!
If Obama attacks Iran, it will be harder for the GOP wants to win elections, by triangulating between Republicans, independents and Democrats whose main issue is national security. A brown person waging war against brown people would be electorally unbeatable.
I miss Bush because he was the lone sentry against an onslaught of materialism and detriments to the family. In the end, he succumbed to the former while becoming a detriment to the Republican Party. I guess I don’t miss that.
Do I miss Bush destroying our economy and dragging us through an unnecessary war? No! Are we better off now than we were when Bush began his term? History has yet to prove this, and I think some of his decisions might save his legacy in the end.
End of my anti-Bush rant of the day!
After a year of Obama, Bush looks better. If Obama keeps going the way he’s gone so far, Bush will look better.
I agree with you, as there were a few Bush policies that make Obama look better. If Obama continues his reckless spending and government waste, Bush will look much better.
Should I miss President Bush? I can’t think of a reason why I should. I could go on an anti-Bush tirade here too, but I suppose I do enough of that (if not too much) on my blog already.
Honestly…what was so great about the Bush presidency?
Umm…nothing! Nothing I can truly think of at this point.
52 consecutive weeks of positive economic growth and 4.6 % unemployment in spite of 9-11 and a mild recession at the beginning of his 1st period is a fantastic record, FACTUAL and UNDENIABLE. I do object to some of his policies such as deficit spending and I definitely opposed the bailouts on his last year in government. If the war on terror (Iraq) is your issue think about it twice. Have you caught yourself saying “what are we going to do w/ Iran? We’got to stop Ahmadinejad” etc…? Well, a response to Iran would be pre-emption, which is part of the “Bush Doctrine” …point is I’m sure that the world is a lot safer and better of w/ S. Hussein gone. Americans seems so naive and even blind when it comes to fighting Islamic fundamentlism….they are a perfectly clear and present danger unlike “global warming”…..
So yes I definitely miss Bush. Say what you will, he had integrity: when a persons words match his acts, says what he means and means what he says!!
Agreed, not a whole lot, other than his preventing another attack.
