If You're Against the War in Afghanistan, Then…
…you’re against women.
Yeah, that’s right. So says TIME Magazine with its latest war propaganda:
Now, it’s unclear whether or not female face mutilations are official Taliban policy, but forget about that 911 stuff, and while you’re at it, forget about all that drug dealing stuff, too. The mission is now officially for white-knighting on behalf of Afghani women.
While we’re at it, the Iranians are a bunch of misogynists, too. Look at the humiliation they pile upon their women:
Just awful. What do all the Iranian men of the past 40 years have to say for themselves? Well? Anything?
Typical men. Now more American military men have to brave a 50% divorce rate because no Iranian man will stand up for their women’s equality.
If the spirit of alternative dispute resolution, here’s a proposal similiar to that discussed between Kissinger and Mao: how about we send 40 million American women in exchange for 200,000 Afghani women? That way, the Taliban and Al CIAeda will crumble within a year.

This is sexist and racist because you are criticizing a black Commander-in-Chief’s fighting of the real war against misogynistic terrorists.
If the GOP wants to win elections, it must triangulate between making the world safe for democracy and making the world safe for women by calling upon our brave, heroic fighting men to defend the honor of women, worldwide. Women are necessary for the family and if we are to achieve stability in the world, fighting for women is fighting for democracy.
Dying for other people’s families serves the interests of materialistic, transnational corporate and banking oligarchs and is detrimental to all families.
Sounds like someone in the so-called “mainstream” media finally got one of the “lessons of Vietnam” right.
And — Gee! — it only took thirty-five years and millions of dead Southeast Asians.
A report that i heard via radio said that the woman was actually mutilated by her own husband, and this was not a Taliban mutilation.
So, is shall this be placed in the same category of domestic violence, like Lorena Bobbitt?
200, bro you are absolutely right. And oh yeah, its funny that suddenly outlets like Time are bringing this up now that Afghanistan is Obama’s war. George W. Bush talked about the plight of women for justification for his wars from the very beginning and nary a word about it from the media.
If this is what we are resorting to to justify continued involvement after our initial purpose was completed, its time to come him and do it now. We can’t control what other countries do in their countries . . . it must be adjudicated through either a world body or simply wait for the inertia of history to take its course.
Two words, Psychological warfare…. Anyway who buys into this idea of fighting for “freedom and democracy” is a MORON! All you have to do is answer this question…what is “winning” in Afghanistan? Define it!? You can’t because it’s all a bunch bullshit! So hide behind the “support our troops” slogan and say I’m unpatriotic! The rich/elite play us like fools and so many people buy into propaganda because they are programed to be emotional morons, who are trained by the media and our fabulous public school system.
i’m sure all the news reports of aid workers being murdered by the taliban and the public execution of a woman accused of adultery are just propaganda……
