Help Wanted: Poe Toaster

Today is Edgar Allan Poe’s birthday, who authored “The Raven,” “The Fall of the House of Usher,” and many other literary pieces. It is tradition in Baltimore that someone always goes to Poe’s grave and leaves three roses along with a half-empty bottle of cognac. This year, it appears that the “Poe Toaster” never showed up, leaving Poe’s fans to do the honors this year. There is speculation that the tradition of someone leaving the roses and cognac ended on the 200th Anniversary of Poe’s Birth in 2009, since the toaster did not appear last year either. This would break the hearts of many who travel to get a glimpse of the supposed “Poe Toaster.”

I guess to quote Poe from “The Raven”:

Quoth the Raven Never More…

Does this mean that the Baltimore Ravens will become a losing team too?
