Happy Earth Day (and Karl Marx's Birthday)!
In honor of Earth Day, I have to count the number of carbon footprints I tracked today. Today also marks another thing to celebrate besides the Earth…Karl Marx. Communists everywhere are celebrating Marx’s birth and his contributions to communism through the Manifesto. Also, today marks the anniversary of Abraham Lincoln’s death. That’s not what I am worried about, as tomorrow marks another important day: Washington Capitals take on the New York Rangers. Let’s hope for a not too close to call game that drove me to consuming half a keg. So, in the time that I took to write my post about Earth Day,celebrating the communist hack, Marx, and remembering Lincoln’s death, I have expelled a total of ten freaking carbon footprints. By the way, if you can ride your bike to your nearest Starbucks with a reusable mug for a free cup of coffee.

Lenin’s Birthday is April 22. Karl Marx Birthday is May 5th.
