Journalist Tells Jews to "Get the Hell Out of Palestine…Go Back to Germany and Poland"
I guess I shouldn’t be surprised by the audacity of Helen Thomas. After all this troll is past her retirement age. I wonder if her employer, Hearst Newspapers agrees with her statement.

"War on Terror" is "War on Drugs"
Here’s a choice quote from the video:
GERALDO [@ 0:51]: The Taliban lend the farmers the money; they are indebted to the Taliban; they have to grow the opium.
[@1:06]…and we are tolerating it. We are tolerating the cultivation of the opium because we know that if we were to destroy it now, the population would turn against the Marines and it would be a real security risk.
[...]
LT. COL. CHRISTMAS [@ 1:43]: Well. Uh, frankly, this is part of their culture. So, while it might grind in my gut, it’s what they do. Um, we provide them security; we are providing them resources; and we are providing them alternatives. The alternatives are, uh, different crops to grow. Getting the seed and fertilizer to do it. Uh, they can…, they can rotate any of their crops, uh, that they want. If they want to get rid of their wheat, and grow cotton for the winter, they can do that, and we’re gonna help them do that, and the same thing goes for the poppies.
Now, recall Geraldo’s characterization of the war in Afganistan from April 4, 2010:
[@ 1:54] You have to know that the main fight right now in an anti-drug fight, a counter-narcotics fight. It’s to get the poppies that grow in such abundance here, that are fueling the Taliban insurgency.
[...]
[@ 2:48] That opium is what fuels the Taliban insurgency. They’re a lot like the FARC rebels in Columbia. Whatever the Taliban started as, right now, they are narco-traffickers, and they are fueling their death and destruction with money from those opium poppies that feed heroin addicts in the four corners of the globe.
So the war on terror is a lot like the war on drugs. Actually, they are both the same. Remember:
Now let’s summarize:
- Opium is what fuels the Taliban insurgency.
- We tolerate the cultivation of the opium, otherwise the Afghan population would turn against the U.S.
- In order to fight terrorism, the U.S. must support the economic activity that funds terrorism, otherwise there would be nothing to fight.

Tragedy in Haiti
My thoughts and prayers go to those who have endured the pain from the earthquake in Haiti. It is a tragedy that has brought many tears to my eyes over the past day or so.
The American Red Cross is accepting donations and it is as easy as texting HAITI to 90999. This will send an immediate $10 donation to the relief efforts. There are also several other non-profits active in the search and rescue efforts. Samaritan’s Purse is sending a group down to Haiti, and they recently sent materials to assist with rebuilding efforts.
Again, my thoughts have been with those in Haiti. The horror and pain they must be feeling is unthinkable.
A Threatening Population Trend & A Call To Action
Guest Post by al Shaitan:
This is a sobering video on the impending direction of the world’s population and culture:
A Call to Action:
- Infect the women of the Islamic culture with good-old fashioned Western feminism (or the plain female entitlement mentality rife among so-called “conservative” women).
- Watch Muslim women become obsessed with shoes, vapid celebrity culture, and unfulfilling careers.
- Watch Muslim women hold off marriage until their careers are comfortably established.
- While establishing careers, watch Muslim women ridin’ dirty become defiled by the likes of Bill Clinton and his ilk
- Watch the rise in “honor” killings, severely reducing the female Muslim population, thus eliminating any demographic threat
Sharia Law in America
Only in Dearborn, Michigan can you see some of the most shocking displays of Sharia law in the United States. However, this video will only go to show the ignorance of the Constitutional rights to the Freedom of Speech and inquiring about the Islamic faith. It is shocking that this type of behavior is allowed in America.

Perriello and Connolly Vote to Bring Detainees to the U.S.
Yesterday, the House voted to close the detention facility at Guantanamo Bay, and now, this paves the way for the relocation of prisoners to the U.S. What this means is that risk of having dangerous terrorists placed in a detention facility in the U.S. has just risen, and it could mean that they could be housed here in Virginia. This is not good in terms of national security, because the risk of one of these criminals could break out of prison and placing harm on our community (or other communities, if the Gitmo Detainees are moved to another area of the country).
So, who cast the deciding vote in favor of Speaker Pelosi’s grand plan? Rep. Tom Perriello of Virginia’s Fifth District. You heard that right, Perriello decided to abandon what was good for the people of Virginia for the sake of party leadership. Perriello voted against an amendment offered by Rep. Jerry Lewis (R-CA) that would have prohibited the closure of Guantanamo Bay, which failed 212-212, where he cast the deciding vote.
Also, voting in favor of Speaker Pelosi’s plan to bring Gitmo detainees to the U.S. was Rep. Gerry Connolly. While this is no surprise, as Connolly is a puppet for Pelosi, it should be particularly concerning for those within the 11th, especially if the prisoners are relocated to Virginia. National security should be of importance to Connolly, as he represents a district that has more government workers, who commute to Alexandria (a site, where the detainees could be placed). Of course, this doesn’t matter to Connolly, as evidenced in this video (H/T to Virginia Virtucon).
No Exit
A very well-written piece by Paul Greenberg, voicing the inexpressible thoughts that go through our minds when we consider our war heroes and the young lives so selflessly laid down that we may be safe and alive.
Regardless of how you feel about the war, this is an amazing article worth reading. Click on the read more link to read the article in context.
NATO’s Hour
Russia’s invasion of Georgia is a game changer. This war is part of a Russian strategy of roll-back and regime change on its borders. The more evidence that comes in, the clearer it is becoming that this is a conflict Moscow planned, prepared for and provoked — a trap Tbilisi unfortunately walked into. Just another reason why Putin is a thug who needs to be dealt with.
Fairfax Area Young Republicans Meeting
Last Wednesday, I was fortunate enough to attend the Fairfax Area Young Republicans meeting. The FAYRs are a dedicated group of grassroots activists, and their meetings generally have great speakers. This meeting featured Phil Kiver, who served in Iraq and is a journalist, who recently published a book. His book is entitled ”182 Days in Iraq,” and it provides details about his service in Iraq. The talk was compelling, and I was intrigued to hear about the progress taking place in Iraq.
The Fairfax Area Young Republicans have their meetings on the third Wednesday of the month at The Firehouse Grill in Fairfax City. There is a social hour at 7:30 p.m., with a meeting taking place at 8 p.m.
Retreat From Iraq: Not the Answer
I believe in the cause of freedom. It is one of the core principles in which our country was founded. Freedom is not free, nor cheap, and it does not come without sacrifice or pain. I have been reflecting on this within the past week, since we approached the five year mark of being in Iraq. At first, I was against the war, because many of my friends were being given deployment orders. As a college student at that time, I worried for my friends’ safety as they were headed to Iraq.
Over time, I came to realize that our country is fighting in Iraq to bring freedom to a country where oppression was rampant. If we retreat from Iraq, it will create an insurgence of terrorism and more chaos will erupt within a country trying to embrace democracy. This is not a war for oil, as many on the left would point out. It is a war to bring prosperity to a country that was oppressed for many years. In 2005, Iraqis had the opportunity to vote for the first time and elect a government to represent them. Additionally, those trying to threaten this prosperity have all been apprehended and killed: Saddam, Uday and Qusay Hussein, and Zarqawi, etc.
Thankfully, the Republican party has a candidate who will fight for the men and women serving our country in the Armed Forces. Bob Marshall realizes that we cannot just pull out and leave Iraq tomorrow, because this will cause destabilization in a emerging democracy. Once we stabilize Iraq, then we can bring the troops home. It is going to take a lot to bring stabilization, but we need to persist and work with the Iraqis and other allies. We must remember that our first priority is a strong national defense and security.
Retreat is not the answer. Persistence is the answer for freedom and prosperity.
