Zorn Out…Who's In?

As many have suspected, Washington Redskins Coach Jim Zorn was fired. With Zorn’s firing, who will be the next coach? One prediction is Mike Shanahan. The big question is: Will Shanahan be able to achieve success under a Dan Snyder team? I guess this will be a wait-and-see decision.

Another factor: Will there be a change in the offensive line? First and foremost, I think it would be wise for the Redskins to dump Jason Campbell and find another quarterback. Campbell has had more blah days than good days (though yesterday’s game at San Diego was a solid performance). Hopefully, there will be some fresh blood for the offensive line.

Hopefully, next season will be better for the burgundy and gold. My thoughts was there needed to be some commentary from a local perspective on this issue.

Hail to the Redskins…Cerrato Resigns!

It’s about freaking time…Vinny Cerrato resigns as Redskins’ executive vice-president of football operations. Hopefully, this will be a move in the winning direction next season, and perhaps, we can go back to more victorious times.

John Riggins Speaks The Truth

The Redskins should listen to former NFL Hall of Famer John Riggins. It’s time to clean house…Fire Vinnie Cerrato and Jim Zorn Now! I don’t even think Jim Zorn could fire up my high school alma mater, the Francis Scott Key Eagles (Monocacy Valley Athletic League…you can figure out the location by that name alone) and help them recover from their 1-5 football record.
