There have been quite a few good things happening in CCC’s life right now.  While all is well, I am taking a longer than usual sabbatical from blogging.  At this point, I am hoping to be back blogging about politics and life later this week or as time allows.

In the meantime, I would like to share some thoughts on wedding planning.  If you have or are in the process of wedding planning, I am certain you will commiserate with me that it is hard work.  I mean outside of the budget, the lessons of dealing with vendors, etc. have taught me that it is time to toughen up on my negotiation skills.  Thankfully, the dress has been bought, the church and reception site booked, as well as the other small details.   December will be here before I know it, and then I will be depressed that everything flew by so fast.

So, I don’t want to turn this into a wedding blog.  God knows, there’s enough of that out there.  The political and sports talk will be back soon.  I just wanted to let you know that I am alive and well in the palatial above ground bunker.
